Questions

Common questions

Which certification is right for my business?

It depends on your business ownership, location, and revenue. Your case manager will run an eligibility review across all applicable certifications before any application work begins.

How long does the certification process take?

WOSB and SDVOSB typically take 4–8 weeks. 8(a) can take 3–6 months due to SBA review depth. HUBZone depends on location verification but typically 60–90 days.

Do I need SAM registration first?

Yes. An active SAM.gov registration is required before applying for most federal certifications. If you are not registered yet, we handle that as part of the process.
